Why some C# developers are Zealots!

Today I came across a quote that I couldn't help but blog. For a while Brian has been running a C# developer site called CSharpZealot and he continually gives me grief about using VB.NET as my primary language. Other than pointing out that C# is lacking...

Languages - Only part of the equation

I'm sorry did I miss the point where we started caring again about what language we are writing in. This was a discussion point 5 years ago when we didn't have powerful IDEs to help us write applications. Now it should be "what job do I want...

While C# has the "because" operator, VB.NET has the "why" query operator

Although VB.NET has in the past missed out on some fairly crucial language features such as anonymous methods and iterators (both absent from VB2005 which shipped with .NET FX 2.0) it seems that it is going to edge C# out in the race for the most obscure...
